In [11 to 16 year olds exhibiting aggressive and violent behaviour], which [drug] would be the [safest one to use while achieving rapid tranquilisation in this group] for further assessment. Clinical Scenario: A 14 year old girl was brought in by the police to the Children's emergency department as they are worried about an episode of self harm. She has a history of alcohol abuse, drug abuse and depression. Prior to arriving she assaulted the police officer and a paramedic, therefore she was handcuffed. She was violent and unco-operative, failing de-escalation techniques, which tranquillisation drug would have been the safest and most effective to use in this age?
